Andre was born in the city of Stepanakert, in the republic of Nagorno-Karabakh. In his early years, Andre’s family noticed that their son showed much interest in music. He started singing when he was only 3 years old, when his stage was a chair, when his microphone was a thermometer, and when his audience was his family members.When he turned 6, Andre started attending piano classes at the Komitas School of Music in Stepanakert. Here, after studying for three years, Andre wrote his first song titled ”Prayer” dedicated to God. During the Artsakh war Andre along with the young choir called ”Children of Artsakh” performed for the army. When he was 15, he participated in a music contest called ”Road to Renaissance” which he won. Andre’s participation in this contest is credited as the starting point of his singing career.Years later, you can see Andre performing as the lead vocalist in his pop-jazz band called ”Karabagh”. Along with his band he travels to different regions of Armenia and Artsakh. Andre’s excellent talents don’t stop at singing. He acts in many plays throughout the year at the Stepanakert State Drama Theater.When his parents were more than sure that their son would become a doctor and would keep up his love of singing as a hobby, Andre was dreaming of becoming one of the singers at the Armenian State Music Theater. And finally, in 1998 his dream came true.2001 Andre goes to Donetsk, Ukraine to participate in his first international music contest called ”Golden Skif”, where he becomes the first runner-up.He participates in an international music contest called ”Golden Shlyager” in the city of Mogilyov, Belarus, becoming the third runner-up and winning the heart so of many fans. By the invitation of Iosif Kobzon, along with many Russian singers, Andre sings at GCKZ ”Rossia” Music Hall in Moscow, Russia.2002 In the city of Almati, Kazakhstan he performs at an international music festival called ”Voice of Asia” and besides receiving a very warm welcome from the audience he gets five more prizes. Based on his song ”Horovel” he comes out with his first music-video which was loved and appreciated by many fans and brought a lot of success and fame to the singer.2003 In the international Youth Music Festival called ”Festos” which took place in Moscow, Andre becomes one of the 10 best performers out of 2500 participants and takes home a ”Golden Diploma” rize. He participates in musical TV-show called ”Narodniy Artist” which is organized and broadcasted by the Russian National TV ”Rossia” and once again he presents his musical talent in front of the Russian audience.In ”Shanghai Asia International Music Festival” Andre gets the title of ”Excellent New Singer”. During the ”Armenian Song of the Year in Moscow” he receives the award of ”The Greatest Contributor in Armenian Music”. The singer’s ”Antsa Gnatsi” song won the ”Best Song of the Year” at Hit FM radio’s ”106% Hit” contest.Andre releases his first CD named ”I AM”.2004During the international film festival ”I Am” the singer’s music video ”Horovel” (Director: Lusine Martirosyan) won the best music video. He introduced a music video of his song ”Just One Night”. Participating in the ”World Championships of Performing Arts” in Hollywood, California Andre receives 3 golden and 1 silver medals and is found the Champion of the World among the solo vocalists in his age group. He becomes the ”Best Singer of the Year” during the ”Krunk” pan-armenian music contest-festival and Armenian national music festival. During the ”Golden Qnar” (Radio Van) Armenian pop song contest/festival, his ”My Love to You” becomes the Best Song of the Year. Within 17 weeks ”My Love to You” becomes one of the top lines of many TV stations with audience voting. He has had many tours in Iran, Lebanon, United Arab Emirates, Cyprus, USA, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Georgia and several cities in Europe and Russia.2005Within 14 weeks his ”Ser es u mi kyanq” took the first spot in the national Billboard and still remains in the Top Ten list. Andre gives three indescribable solo-concerts at fully loaded ”Alex” theater in Glendale, CA which received a recognition by his fans. Based on his song ”My love to You”, he brings out the English version of the same song as a single. In honor of the 90th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide a music video is born on his song ”Mer Ergir”. He had his first performance on May 30th and 31st in Opera and Ballet Theatre in Yerevan which was highly recognized by the audience. He comes out with another CD titled ”Miayn Ser” where the singer performs already recognized love songs as well as new ones by different songwriters. On October 11th Andre will present a show-program consisted of his best songs and also will premier his CD ”Only Love” at ”Karen Demirchyan Media Center”.
